Our first Easter as a married couple was fun...we've had a couple of Easters together before, so we already had some traditions established. Two of those traditions include me getting John an Easter basket filled with goodies and coloring Easter eggs together. Besides doing those two things together, we also went to Sunday service with John's parents and then had Easter dinner with my family. It was a lot of fun and I am just amazed at how much more fun all the holidays are now that I have a sweet husband to spend them with! Anyway, here's some pictures of our holiday weekend!
PS - We're going to St. George in a week and a half! Yessss! Can't wait to see family and have some fun in the WARM weather! :)

Our "Staycation"
Since it was my birthday this last week, John and I decided that was a good excuse to take a couple of days off work and go on a "staycation." We are saving up for our big trip in June to Austin (less than 2 months away now!!), so we decided it would be cheaper to just visit some places in Utah we haven't been to or don't get to go to often.
So, one day we spent the whole day in Park City and had a blast! We went shopping, walked up and down Main Street, checked out the Canyons Resort, and had dinner.
Then the next day, we drove up to Brigham City and had lunch at Maddox (the most delicious rolls & raspberry butter EVER!) and visited Crystal Hot Springs.
It was an awesome little break from work, and we had a great time just checking out some of the cool stuff right in our area!
Also, I know I haven't updated my recipes or restaurant reviews lately, but I will soon! I'm sure all (three of) my fans are wondering what I've been cooking lately and what interesting places we've been eating out at!

My Birthday Weekend!
I was officially spoiled throughout my whole birthday weekend! I don't feel much like writing today, so I'll just post some fun pictures of what we did with friends & family!
